• "Everything at Ramashala has been perfect. The buildings are designed beautifully.
The weather has been perfect and the people make you feel like old friends. Swimming with the dolphins at the black sand beach was incredible. A drive down the red road to the tide pools were really amazing. This may be our favorite place on earth."

Testimonials

TestimonialsNew York Times, Sunday Travel Section, April 17, 2005 selected Ramashala as one of four secluded lodgings on the Big Island to feature in that issue’s articles on the Hawaiian Islands.
Gloria Baraquio, host, writer, and producer for the TV series "Living Local with the Baraquio's" on Hawaiian Television wrote in her May 2006 Sunday column in the Tribune Herald re Ramashala:

"We all were so amazed at how beautiful the property was, from the Balinese statues to the colored tiles and the wooden floors, from the river stone paths and counters to the A-frame architecture and the Indonesian furniture. It seemed like every piece was destined to be there, and my sisters and I could feel the power of the place."

"Dearest Hearts,
Your loving energy is apparent & shines through every blade of grass. We are deeply grateful for your efforts & service on so many levels both seen & unseen that has created this sanctuary - beautiful serene & deeply peaceful.
